Construction of a walking trail around Mantua Reservoir is underway with Brigham City crews providing all the manpower for a portion of the total cost. The trail has been in the works for years and is being completed now, thanks to grants. The total cost of the project is $488,000 with $324,000 coming from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and the Division of Parks and Recreation. The balance of the cost is provided through Brigham City as city employees complete the work . The project will include a parking area and restrooms. Completion is expected next spring.
