The 2009 Relay For Life for Box Elder County starts Friday, July 17, and lasts all night at Rees Pioneer Park.

The public is invited to bring their party hats and wear their walking shoes and join in the most rewarding night of the summer.

The survivor’s lap and luminaria are very moving experiences, a volunteer explained.

There will be entertainment, food, celebration and fun. A new feature this year is the Battle of the Bands: Salas Project, Charisma, Monique Preebe Band, Bill McGaha and Friends and more.

All the money raised will be used to continue research to find a cure for cancer.

Organizers and volunteers are grateful for community support, which makes the annual event such a great success..
